Hello! My name is Natalya. I'm from Russia. I love art in all its forms!
There were no painters in our family. But my great- grandfather on my father`s side worked as a cabinetmaker and carved furniture and animal figures from wooden boards. Both of my grandmothers embroidered. My grandfather on my mother's side was into photography.
I was born in Arsenyev.
As a child, I spent hours looking at pictures of great artists in magazines, studied their biographies and learned to draw on my own. When I was five years old, my mother brought me to an art studio, and later I continued my education at Fine Arts Department of the Ulyanovsk School of Arts. At that time, I was interested in many things: sculpting, pyrography, embroidery, woodenware painting, pencil, ink , and gouache drawing.
During my school years, I actively participated in poster contests. I dreamed of attending an Art Institute. But...
After graduating from the Pedagogical University and having received a specialty - a teacher of handicraft and general l technical disciplines, I started working in a secondary school as a teacher of drawing and was also a leader of the painting club. Moreover, I was involved in wall painting.
After receiving my second education, I took a few years break from art and plunged into the economics. But when my daughter was born, I started painting again.
One day, I decided to return to my long-held dream of painting with oils on canvas, so I bought tubes of oil paint and ready-made canvases and began to experiment. My first paintings were awkward and unsophisticated. But that didn`t stop me.
In 2016, I began to study the basics of artistic literacy, composition, and color science on my own. I was interested in painting techniques of various masters, explored different art materials and invented my own painting method.
My works include landscapes, still lifes, thematic paintings, flowers and some illustrations. Apart from that, I am passionate about embroidery, making decorative flowers out of ribbon and tissue, designing, and writing fairy tales.
